We Planted Wildflowers with Zero Plan. They Bloomed Anyway.

My middle two children and I planted wildflowers this spring with zero plan, minimal effort, and let's just say aspirational watering. Just a handful of seeds, a little hope, and a promise to take things one day at a time.

This same spring, my family welcomed newborn twin boys, prepared to sell our home, embraced a new zip code, and today I returned to work full-time from maternity leave.

No chaos narrative here. Just a quiet reminder that growth doesn't have to be rushed or perfect.

Sometimes it's about showing up consistently, adjusting the plan, and tending to what matters most in the moment... whether it's a work project or a toddler in need of a snack.

These wildflowers survived extreme heat, wind, storms, and our very full calendar. They bloomed anyway. And so did we.

Here's to jumping back in, learning a new work-life balance, and remembering to celebrate the quiet wins along the way.

What's something small you planted this year, literally or figuratively, that surprised you by blooming?
